140 industry supporters brave the Hong Kong trail in monsoon conditions to raise funds for seafarers in need

The 8th Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia was held on November 17 at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, as part of the Hong Kong Logistics and Maritime Weeks. A total of 16 award winners were honored at the event.

Ordered with Sumitomo Corporation and Oshima Shipyard, the environmentally advanced vessels will be built in Japan and will add substantial capacity to the company’s Great Lakes-capable fleet of ships. Gulf Oil Marine was selected to supply Fednav’s entire eco- friendly fleet in 2014.

Ardmore Shipping Corporation has recently announced that its latest new build vessel, the Ardmore Seafox, was delivered by SPP Shipbuilding Co., Ltd (“SPP Shipbuilding”) from the Sacheon shipyard in Korea on 25th June 2015.

Gulf Oil Marine held two technical seminars in Fuzhou and Xiamen for customers in Fujian province on 23rd & 25th June respectively. Around 60 vessel owners, ship operators and industry participants attended two events.

Gulf Oil Marine, together with our partner Alliance Logistics Management Inc., held a technical seminar in HaiPhong, Vietnam on 8th April 2015. Over 50 ship operators and some government institutions attended the event.

The 14th Sailor Today Sea Shore Awards 2015 was held in Mumbai on 21st March to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of distinguished seafarers, shipping companies & maritime organizations.
